You can study full or part time, on campus or remotely. If you're a professional with an existing body of research, a PhD by Portfolio could be the route for you. You can find details of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses here.
Postgraduate researchers are assigned a supervisory team who have the expertise and experience to support them in their studies. Supervisors will help you to shape your research project, give feedback on work in progress and guide you to completion.
Throughout your doctorate, you will have opportunities to communicate your work and network with other researchers, internally and externally. Many of our students have the opportunity to gain teaching experience at the University and with schools through the Brilliant Club.
You will also benefit from a programme of relevant skills development courses organised by the Graduate School which helps ensure that you are fully prepared for the demands of a PhD.
When you are ready to submit an application, this is how you do it and how it will be considered. You can find our tuition fees for postgraduate research here and more information on our Graduate School site.
